CBO chief warns of 'fiscal cliff' and potential recession
Wed Aug 22, 2012
Gary-2545132, I could not agree more. We give BILLIONS away to foreigners while we have American people suffering in our own streets. Cutting the Defense Budget is not an option as there are too many threats (terrorist and military factions) that can instantly impact our freedoms and way of life.
Live vote: Is Paul Ryan a good pick for the GOP ticket?
Sat Aug 11, 2012
In these times, fiscal responsibility and sensibility are essential in our leadership. I believe Paul Ryan will add that to the ticket.

I am not a scientist, botonist, or otherwise in the medical business. However, manipulating the food supply is not necessarily a good thing.
Has Obama's 'let's talk' approach worked with US adversaries? A report card...
Fri Dec 23, 2011
President Clinton suffered two attacks on American people including the military and took no action at all to retaliate or make efforts to recitfy the situation. President Bush inherited many problems including the Democratic Congress.
'Laugh-In' player Alan Sues dies at 85
Fri Dec 2, 2011
I was in the Navy back then attending Sonar School in San Diego. I tried hard not to miss any episode. "Uncle Al had tooo much medicine last night..." accompanied with his 'painful look' brought me to my knees. I agree, humor like that needs to be revived. RIP, Alan!! and thank you!!

Fri Nov 25, 2011
Okay, Mr. Obama, when is enough, enough. The gauntlet has been throne down and the Mexican cartels are winning. Our southern borders are nothing more than "screen doors" and our citizens from Southern California to the Gulf Coast are subject to what should be protected.
Your grocery bill is getting higher, and higher
Thu Nov 17, 2011
I try to shop the outside of the store but that is where the higher priced items are. We are cutting our gas costs by staying home.
Senator: Deactivating cellphones can deter theft
Sun Aug 21, 2011
I would fully support any effort to disable lost or stolen cellphones as the ladies in my life 'lose' their "life support connection devices" on a regular (albeit random) basis. One will lose a phone and then the others seem to follow the practice. My wife accuses me of keeping the network we …
Clinton in Pakistan: More needs to be done against militants
Fri May 27, 2011
The Pakistani's have never been reliable or part of the "equation" as they are so corrupt. Its time to cut them loose and use the money we send them (and the 'management' hordes or deposits in "off shore accounts") adrift. They contribute zero to the security and welfare of the world let alone A …
US dips into pension funds as debt limit hit
Mon May 16, 2011
I agree with most of the opinions in that BOTH parties need to lay down the gauntlet and get back to the facts. We are BROKEN and need to refocus to our internal problems.
